Worship Team - this team is assigned the purpose of
worship. Their job is to plan and oversee our Sunday services,
special worship emphasis and events, and to provide music and
worship resources to the rest of the church.
Ministry Team -
the goal of this team is to help every member of the church find a
meaningful place of service that best expresses his or her gifts and
abilities.
Discipleship Team - this team is assigned the purpose of
leading our members to a deeper spiritual commitment to help them to
develop spiritual maturity. It is responsible for all Bible studies,
Sunday School classes, confirmation classes, Vacation Bible School
(VBS), and special church wide spiritual growth campaigns. They
produce family devotional guides, a list of Bible Study curriculums
and other resources to help believers grow.
Fellowship Team - this team is assigned the purpose of
fellowship. It is their business to care for the flock (sending
cards for illness, deaths, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). They
oversee weddings, funerals, pastoral care, hospital visitation, and
benevolence within the congregation. Finally, this team is
responsible for all major fellowship events within our church family
and for encouraging each small group to have fellowship events.
Outreach Teams -
includes Missions and Church Growth. These teams are assigned the purpose of missions and church growth
(evangelism). Their job is to plan, promote, and oversee all mission
projects and the church’s evangelistic activities and programs. They
are to organize whatever it takes to reach our community and our
world for Christ.
Support Teams -
includes Finance, Staff Parish Relations, Property Management, and
the Permanent Endowment Team.
